He was a native of St. Brides, Norfolk County, and had lived in the Norfolk area for 50 years, residing at 3029 Fireside Road, Riverdale, at the time of his death. He was a member of various bicycle clubs before the advent of the Automobile Age, and for years repaired the bicycles used by city employees. He was a former member of Charity Lodge 6, Knights of Pythias, and of the Woodmen of the World. He was a member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church. A son of the late Thomas G. and Mrs. Margaret Anne Russell Morse, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hassie Ore Lindsay Morse; a daughter, Miss Louise S. Morse, of Norfolk; two stepsons, Lewis E. Lindsay and Robert L. Lindsay, both of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Frank E. Morse, of California and John B. Morse, of Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. Winfield Bossout and Mrs. Earl Dawley, both of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the James V. Derry funeral chapel Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. F.T. Fowler, pastor of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, ************************** James Peter Morse - Funeral services for Mr. Morse, who died Tuesday, will be conducted at the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel tomorrow at 11 a.m. by the Rev. T. T. Fowler, pastor of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, assisted by the Rev. Henry W. Tiffany, pastor of Park Place Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
