The son of Jesse and Sally Moore Morse, he was a lifelong resident of Back Bay and a member of Kala Church of Christ. Until his retirement 12 years ago, he was an employee of the Moon Shipyard and Repair Corporation in Norfolk. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sally Beals Morse; three daughters, Mrs. L.H. Waterfield, Mrs. A.R. Waterfield and Mrs. L.M. Guynn, all of Back Bay; a son, Vernon L. Morse, of Princess Ann, and 17 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
