Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 28, 1952

Mrs. Elizabeth Patrick Morse, wife of Joseph T. Morse and daughter of the late 
Adelbert and Mrs. Emily Nottingham Patrick, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday 
at 1:15 p.m. She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 722 Yarmouth 
Street at the time of her death. 
She was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church and a charter member of the 
Norfolk City Union of the King's Daughters. In 1951 she was awarded a plaque for 
60 years of service to that organization.
Besides her husband she is survived by one sister, Miss Maud Irene Patrick, of 
Norfolk. 
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist 
Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
