He leaves a widow, six children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the residence. ************************************************************************ MORTON - At the residence, No. 137 S. May Avenue, on Wednesday, March 27, 1907, at 2:30 o'clock a.m., PETER MORTON SR., in the 75th year of his age. Funeral services from the residence THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 4 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Virginian Pilot March 28, 1907 ********************************************************************* The funeral of the late Peter Morton, Sr., whose death occurred at his home, No. 137 South May avenue, Wednesday morning in the 75th year of his age, was held from his residence at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. Father Edward J. Walsh of St. Mary’s Catholic church. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: James O’Rourke, J. R. Coleman, Martin Cashin, Henry Fisher, Jno. R. Cross and J. A. Barnes.
