Capps, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday afternoon at 12:25 o’clock at the residence, 648 May avenue. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, the Misses Katherine E. and Laura Lee Morton, and a son, James E. Morton, all of Norfolk; six brothers, W. E. Capps, USCG, and Sidney L. Capps, Jr., U. S. Army, Romi Lu, Herman, Leroy and W. C. Pallett, of Norfolk and three sisters, Mrs. W. E. Porter, Mrs. John C. Stephens and Mrs. T. Sweatmon, of Hopewell. The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, pending funeral arrangements. Mrs. Edna Capps Morton - The body of Mrs. Morton, wife of Nicholas Morton, who died Tuesday, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for services this morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
