Virginian-Pilot March 29, 1907
The funeral of the late Peter Morton, Sr., whose death occurred at his home, No. 
137 South May avenue, Wednesday morning in the 75th year of his age, was held from 
his residence at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. 
Father Edward J. Walsh of St. Mary’s Catholic church. The interment was in St. 
Mary’s cemetery.
Following were the pallbearers: James O’Rourke, J. R. Coleman, Martin Cashin, 
Henry Fisher, Jno. R. Cross and J. A. Barnes.
