NORFOLK - Helen Carter Moseley, of the 400 block of W. Little Creek Road, a
retired schoolteacher, died April 29,1989, in a hospital.
  Mrs. Moseley, a native of Norfolk, was retired from the Norfolk Public School
System after 17 years.  She was a member of Norfolk Teachers Association,
National Education Association, Wheaton Chapter 73 Order of the Eastern Star and
Garretts Baptist Church, Chesterfield Heights, Norfolk.
  Survivors include her husband, James H. Moseley; two daughters, Valerie R.
White and Pamela Moseley, both of Norfolk;  and four grandchildren.
 The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Garretts Baptist Church by
the Rev. Johnny Reid.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Viewing will be from
2 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Pretlow Funeral Home.  Friends may join the family at
the residence.
