She had been ill for one week. Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, at noon tomorrow, with the Rev. Broadus E. Jones, pastor of the First Baptist Church and the Rev. Sidney Quong officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Moses, widow of Abe Moses, was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, where she was noted for her charity work and philanthropies. At the time of her death, she was the oldest member of the First Baptist Church, where she had taught the Woman's Bible Class for 25 years and had served as class mother for the Fidelis Class. Prior to her becoming affiliated with the First Baptist Church, she taught the Young Women's Bible Class of Park Avenue Baptist Church for 10 years. She rendered outstanding service as president of the board of the Florence Crittenton Home for 12 years, from 1925 to 1937. Her other activities included Chinese mission work and the holding of various offices in the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. Surviving Mrs. Moses are a daughter, Miss Rena Moses and a son, Bernard Moses, both of Norfolk.
