Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 16, 1940

Miss Ivlyan Stith Moss, aged 82, daughter of Thomas Vernon and Mrs. Azula Farant 
Moss, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 3:10 o'clock yesterday 
morning at the residence of her cousin, Miss Nonie Wilkinson, 823 Graydon 
Avenue. Surviving her are three nieces, Miss Ruth Moss, of San Francisco; Mrs. 
Stanley Dennis and Miss Vernon Moss, both of Baltimore and several cousins, all 
of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the residence to Christ and St. Luke's Church, of 
which she was a member, for funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with 
the Rev. W. Taylor Willis, rector, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
