Funeral services for Thomas Moss were conducted Sunday, June 21 at New Calvary 
Baptist Church by the pastor, Elder S. A. Wilson

He died June 12 after a short illness at his residence, 922 Washington avenue.

A native of Boydton, VA, Mr. Moss had lived in Norfolk a number of years and was 
a retired coal trimmer.  He was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Moss;  two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice 
Sinclair, Norfolk and Mrs. Mary Powell of Baltimore, MD;  and three sons, Thomas 
Moss of Philadelphia, Allen Moss of New York and Shirley Stanford of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
