Funeral services were held at Hale Funeral Chapel Nov. 23 for Mrs. Arlethia
Moton, 42.  The Rev. W. L. Hamilton, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church where Mrs.
Moton held membership, conducted the services.  

Mrs. Moton died at a local hospital Nov. 18 after a lingering illness.

She was the daughter of Mrs. Bertha Johnson and the late Alpheus Johnson.

Survivors include the husband, William M. Moton of Albany, NY;  a son, Frederick
Moton;  a sister, Mrs. Bertha J. Roberson;  2 brothers, James and Alvin Johnson;
 a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Lashley;  3 grandchildren;   3 uncles, 4 aunts, a
son-in-law, a sister-in-law and a daughter-in-law.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Service in charge of
arrangements.
