Francis Benedict Mott, aged 76, died Tuesday night at 11:20 o'clock at his home, 800 Princess Anne Road. He was a son of the late Willet and Mrs. Sarah Chapman Mott and was born in Freeport, Long Island, but had lived here over 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice L. Mott; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Hettrick Shaffer, of Norfolk; a son, Ernest Hettrick, of Miami, Fla.; a brother, Wallace W. Mott, of Norfolk; two nieces, Mrs. Barton Haigh and Mrs. William Kirby, both of Norfolk; a nephew, Garfield Mann, New York City, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
