Wallace W. Mott, Well-Known Pilot, Dead Capt. Wallace W. Mott, 72, a well-known pilot, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Freeport, N.Y., but had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years. He resided in Berkley for a number of years but recently had been making his home at 1535 De Grasse avenue. He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Barton Haigh and Mrs. William Kirby, of Norfolk and a nephew, Garfield Mann, of New York. The body is at the funeral apartment of J.R. Williams, 13 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, pending completion of funeral arrangements. Additional Comments: Magnolia Death date of July 15 on tombstone in incorrect.
