Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, Virginia) Saturday, March 23, 1963  
Norfolk-Miss Clara Edna Mowery, 80, daughter of Ira and Mrs. Clara Baskover Mow
Mowery, a native of Nutley, N.J., and a resident of Norfolk 70 years, died Fri
Friday at 9:40 a.m. in the Lydia H. Roper Home.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. John Coleman of Richmond; two nieces, Mrs. Albert Bu
Bush of Albany, N.Y., and Mrs. Selden Knudson of Rochester, N.Y.; and a nephew, Ir
Ira L. Avery of New York City.
A funeral services will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 2:30 p
p.m. by the Rev. Peyton Williams, rector of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal C
Church of which Miss Mowery was a member. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
