NORFOLK - A 37-year-old Turkish-born nurse, whose body had lain unclaimed in 
public morgues for six months, was buried Tuesday at the expense of a local 
funeral home, flower shop, and cemetery.
The ceremony for Mensure N. Moylan, slain in Ocean View last February, was held at 
10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The body had lain in state morgues in Norfolk and 
Richmond after being unclaimed.
Mrs. Moylan was shot to death Feb. 17 as her 16-year-old son watched. Her ex-
husband, Robert W. Moylan, has been indicted in the killing and is free on bond 
pending psychiatric examination by the Navy.
