Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 27, 1948

James Charles Moynihan, 64, died in a Norfolk hospital Friday at midnight after 
an illness of five years.
He was a son of the late Patrick Moynihan and Mrs. Elnora O'Connor. He was a 
native of Lynchburg and had been a resident of this section for a number of 
years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. J.C. Moynihan, of Roanoke.
The body was removed to the Paul B. Warren & Son Funeral Home.

James Charles Moynihan – Funeral services for Mr. Moynihan, who died Friday, 
were conducted today at 11 a.m. at the funeral home of Paul B. Warren and Son by 
the Rev. P. C. Blackburn, pastor of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial was 
in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
