The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 11, 1953
Mrs Margaret Renn Mullen, 60, wife of James Richard Mullen and daughter of the 
late Louis Walter and Mrs. Lillian Waitte Scharlette Renn, a native of Raleigh, 
N.C. and a resident of Norfolk until one and a half years ago, when she made 
her home in Teaneck, N.J., died yesterday morning in Teaneck.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Betsy Scharlette 
Mullen; a sister, Miss Mattie S. Renn, of Teaneck; and a brother, Walter S 
Renn, of Norfolk.
The body will be brought to Norfolk, and servies will be conducted at the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Beverley Tucker White, 
rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
