Virginian-Pilot January 25, 1959
NORFOLK - Mrs. Nora Malone Mullen, wife of George W. Mullen, and daughter of the 
late Thomas and Mrs. Margaret McGanan Malone, died Saturday at 4:45 p.m. at the 
residence, 411 Redgate Ave.
She was a native of Chicago, Ill., but had resided in Norfolk the last 41 years. 
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Sodality of the Blessed 
Virgin Mary and the Daughters of Isabella.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, George Thomas Mullen, of 
Virginia Beach; one daughter, Miss Marie Grace Mullen, of Norfolk, and one 
sister, Mrs. Ray Smith of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments Monday 
at 7:30 p.m.
