Norfolk - Mrs. Ruth B. Mullin of 822 Park avenue was given final rites at First 
Baptist Church, Bute street, June 11 by the Rev. E. Paul Simms.  Burial was in 
Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.  She died June 7 in a nursing 
home after a short illness.

A Norfolk native, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Williams and Mrs. Martha 
Williams and widow of Sherman Mullin.

She taught Sunday School at First Baptist Church, Bute Street.

Mrs. Mullin is survived by a brother, George S. Williams, and two sisters, Mrs. 
Janie Davis and Mrs. Mattie Dodson, all of Norfolk.
