Virginian-Pilot  March 12, 1954
Mrs. Kate Maher Mulqueen, 76, widow of James Mulqueen, a native of Ireland and a 
resident of Norfolk for 59 years, died yesterday at 2:20 a.m. at the residence, 
172 Orleans Circle.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Harmon A. Gates and Mrs. Floyd R. Saunders, 
three sons, Martin J. Mulqueen, of Norfolk, John D. Mulqueen, of Buckroe Beach, 
and William T. Mulqueen, of Norfolk, and five grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church, of which Mrs. Mulqueen was a member, for funeral services 
tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments today at 8 p.m.
