Virginian Pilot June 22, 1899

MUNDEN - At the residence of Mr. Fentress, No. 126 South Kelly Avenue, 
Brambleton, at 3 o'clock a.m. Wednesday, June 21st, after a long and painful 
illness, JAMES E. MUNDEN, aged 34 years.
The funeral will take place from the above residence at 3 o'clock THIS 
(Thursday) AFTERNOON. Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to 
attend.

The funeral of Mr. James E. Munden, who passed away at his home, No. 126 North 
Kelby Avenue at an early hour Wednesday morning, was held from the residence at 
3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was attended by Industry Council Jr. O.U.A.M., 
of which he was a member. The services were conducted by Rev. J.E. Shenk, of the 
First Lutheran Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the 
pallbearers: N.F. Jones, J.L. Heptinstall, R.B. McClellan, E. Williams, U.B. 
McClellan, and J.V. Smith.
