Jesse Amos Mundy Sr., 79, a retired dental technician, died Nov. 16, 1993, in a 
Norfolk hospital.

He was born in Danville, Va., and was the widower of Moreen Mundy. He was Catholic 
and an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion. He retired 
after 20 years in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by two daughters, Teresa M. Mundy of Norfolk and Sara E. Warren of 
Arizona; one son, Jesse A. Mundy Jr. of Jacksonville, N.C.; his mother, Patricia 
E. Mundy of Graham, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk 
Chapel, and will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph P. Lehman. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 p.m.
