Alcie S. Mundy, 88, died March 26, 1996, in a local hospital. 
Ms. Mundy was a native of Norfolk. She was a member of Zion Grace United 
Methodist Church in Norfolk. She was a graduate of the class of 1925 of Maury 
High School and was a retired salesperson for Smith and Welton and Hofheimer's 
in Norfolk. 
Survivors include two sisters, Mary F. Mundy of Norfolk and Doris M. Fischer of 
Clinton, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 1996, in 
Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Charles W. Hubbard Jr. In lieu of flowers, 
memorial donations may be made to the Zion Grace United Methodist Church in 
Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
