NORFOLK - Moreen Hilda Gertrude Trinder Mundy, 57, of 2943 Verdun Ave., a native 
of Hammersmith, England, and the wife of Jesse Amos Mundy Sr., died Friday in a 
hospital.
She was a payroll clerk for Carolina Freight Carriers Corp. and was a member of 
Christ the King Catholic Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sara M. Warren of Virginia Beach and 
Teresa Merry Mundy of Norfolk; a stepson, Jesse Amos Mundy Jr., of Jacksonville, 
N.C.; two brothers, Harold Trinder and William Trinder, and four sisters, all of 
England; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in Christ the 
King Catholic Church by the Rev. J. Michael Breslin. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A prayer service will be said at 7 p.m. today in Smith 
& Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel.
