Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 14, 1912

MURDEN - At the residence, Oaklette, Norfolk County, Va., Friday, July 12, 1912, 
at 4:05 o'clock p.m., WILLIAM H. MURDEN, in the 59th year of his age.
Funeral services at Oaklette Methodist Church SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of William H. Murden was held at Oaklette M.E. Church, Norfolk 
County, at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was numerously attended.  There was 
a magnificent display of floral tributes.  The services were conducted by the 
pastor, Rev. J.H. Cabler, during which Mordaunt Etheredge sang "Face to Face." 
The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk  The following were the 
pallbearers:
Elizabeth Camp No. 3, Woodmen of the World - W.H. Clark, A.W. Kemp
Citizens - W. Milholland, J.W. Paxson, P.W. Paxson, S.J. Ludy, J. Swain and J.T. 
Doughtey.
