Murden died yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence of her son-in-law, Joseph L. Young, 736 Mason avenue, following a long illness. She was 64 years old and a native of Norfolk. She was the widow of John W. Murden, and was well and favorably known. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Zachariah Luck, Mrs. D. A. Tatem, Mrs. Lloyd Chick, Mrs. Frederick Cherry and Mrs. Joseph L. Young; by three sons, Benjamin F. Murden, Charles E. Murden and Alonzo B. Murden; by one sister, Mrs. J. J. Donnelly of Newport News; by two brothers, F. P. Evans and L. B. Evans; by 36 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church.
