Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 8, 1990
Raymond R. Murphy, of the 1000 block of St. Julian Ave., a self-employed home 
builder, died Dec. 3, 1990, in his home. 
Mr. Murphy was a native of Norfolk. 
Survivors include his wife, Shelia Murphy; two daughters, Elvira Keeling and 
Monica Mitchell; three sons, Raymond Murphy Jr., Rololius Lee and Eng Odom; his 
mother, Louise D. Murphy; two sisters, Patricia Swann and Betty Murphy; and two 
brothers, William H. Murphy Jr. and Michael T. Murphy, all of Norfolk. 
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Home by the 
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
