Norfolk - Mrs. Lannie Marie Murphy, 29, of 115 E. 29th St., the wife of Joe 
Murphy and a native of Enfield, NC, died Tuesday, Apr. 1, in Medical Center 
Hospital.
She was a daughter of Mrs. Queen Ester Turner Riddick.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Also surviving are a son, John Glenn Murphy, five sisters, Mrs. Elizath 
Deering, Mrs. Claretha Hargraves, Miss Beatrice Turner, Mrs. Willie Mae 
Christmon, and Miss Mary Bailey, all of Norfolk;  and three brothers, Larry 
Vann of Suffolk, and William Ruffner and Ronald J. Brown of Norfolk.
A funeral service was held Sunday, April 6, in Twilight Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Calvary Cemetery.
