Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, October 27, 1993 
Geraldine Bellamy Murphy, 66, of 207 East 27th St., died Oct. 22, 1993.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Gatun Canal Zone and went to school in the Canal Zone.
She was married in the Cocoa-Solo Canal Zone to Robert T. Murphy who was
stationed in the Navy. Mrs. Murphy was an employee at the Admiraldty Hotel for
over 20 years.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Agatha Bellamy of Panama; four sons,
Robert H. Murphy, Gerald L. Murphy, Frank J. Murphy and Patrick A. Murphy; two
brothers, Lionel Bellamy and Claude Bellamy; two aunts, Sybil Pickens, deceased;
and Gwendolyn Hinds of New York; two uncles, George W. Breathwaite and Kenneth
R. Breathwaite; four daughters-in-law; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
three nieces; three nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Christian wake service will be held 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Hale
Funeral Home located on Ballentine Boulevard and Princess Anne Road. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Friday in Basilica of St. Mary of
the Immaculate Conception Church by Father Walter C. Barrett. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends will gather at 5454 Sandpiper Lane at 11 a.m.
