Virginian-Pilot  March 31, 1913
Mrs. Honora Murphy, after attending the morning service at St. Mary’s Catholic 
church yesterday, died suddenly at her home, l005 Virginia street, last night. She 
was 75 years old and, as far as is known, had no relatives in Norfolk. She was a 
native of Ireland, but had resided in Norfolk many years.
Mrs. Murphy was a devout member of St. Mary’s Catholic church and had a host of 
friends. The body was removed to the undertaking apartments of H. D. Oliver, 610-
612 Freemason street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
