Mrs. Annie E. Murphey, wife of George Murphey, died at 11:30 yesterday at St. 
Vincent’s Hospital, where she went Wednesday to have an operation performed.  
The deceased was formerly Miss Annie Simpson, and was 36 years of age. She 
leaves no children. The remains will be kept in the parlor of the hospital, 
where they may be seen by her friends till Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock, at 
which hour the funeral will take place from the Queen Street Methodist Church, 
of which she was a member.
