Virginian-Pilot  April 19, 1961
NORFOLK - Mrs. Margaret E. Murphy, 53, widow of Robert A. Murphy, died Tuesday 
at 10:50 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Murphy, a native of Memphis, lived in Norfolk five years, lately at 901 
Spotswood.
Surviving are two sons, James E. Murphy of Boston and Robert A. Murphy Jr. of 
Norfolk; her mother, Mrs. Barney E. Eaton Sr. of Gulfport, Miss.; two 
grandchildren, Katherine Murphy and James E. Murphy Jr. of Boston; and two 
brothers, James S. Eaton of Gulfport, and Barney E. Eaton Jr. of Brooklyn.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
