NORFOLK — Mrs. Rosella (Gabriel) Curry Murphy, 61, wife of  Dana A. Murphy and 
daughter of Richard A. and Mrs. Hannah Forbes Curry, died Tuesday morning in a 
Norfolk hospital.
A native of Fall River, Mass., she lived 36 years at 3723 Henrico St. Mrs. 
Murphy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Christ Child Circle, 
Sodality, and Estabrook Garden Club, and was a volunteer worker at St. Mary’s 
Infant Home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dana A. Murphy Jr. of Chicago 
and Richard Curry Murphy of Ft. Jackson, S.C.; a brother, John Curry of Fall 
River; four sisters, Mrs. James Lynch, Mrs. Fred Kessel, Mrs. Chris Geary and 
Miss Florence Curry, of Fall River; and five grandsons.
The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30. A 
funeral service will be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Thursday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
