George Murray, 72, a member of Antioch Baptist Church, was given funeral rites 
there Sunday with the pastor, the Rev. J. W. Matthews, officiating.

Mr. Murray lived at 425 Fenchurch street.  He died Feb. 23.  The Middleton, NC, 
native was buried in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Citizens Funeral Home.

He is survived by three sons, Raymond, John and Oliver Murray, all of Norfolk;  
10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
