Virginian Pilot December 30, 1900 ******************************************************************** Howard Murray, the interesting 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Murray, of Colley Avenue, departed this life suddenly at the home of his parents at 2:30 o'clock a.m. yesterday, after only a few hours illness. The youth was seen on the street most of the day Friday, at play with his young associates in apparent good health. He returned home about nightfall and soon after complained of a severe headache. His mother administered a dose of lemon seltzer, with the hope of giving him relief, but he continued to grow worse and although the best medical skill was summoned, despite the efforts of the physicians, he passed away at the hour mentioned. The funeral will take place from Colley Memorial Presbyterian Church at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
