Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 10, 1948

Mrs. Annie Laura Murray, 85, widow of W.D. Murray, died at a Norfolk hospital 
yesterday at 12:01 a.m. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Alta Lee Murray, of 
Washington, D.C.; four sons, W.M., R.R., S.A. and D.B. Murray, all of Norfolk; six 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Murray was a native of Gates 
County, N.C. and had been a resident of Norfolk for 70 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Wednesday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
