DEATH OF A SISTER OF CHARITY - We grieve to be compelled to announce this morning 
the death of Sister Mary Anne Murray, which occurred yesterday afternoon at the 
Hospital of St. Vincent de Paul. This devoted class, of whom it may be truthfully 
said, they ‘‘prove their faith by their works,” deserve all the honors which a 
community can give them, and when death claims them we are firmly persuaded that 
they go to receive the crown intended for martyrs. To the closing of the funeral 
notice, “Requiescat in pace,” we add a fervent Amen.

DIED.
At St. Vincent de Paul’s Hospital, at 20 minutes past 5 o’clock Sunday afternoon, 
Sister MARY ANNE MURRAY, aged 36 years.
Her funeral will take place from St. Mary’s Church on TOMORROW (Tuesday) MORNING 
at 10 o’clock.
