Virginian Pilot September 10, 1998

Grace Elizabeth Murray, 90, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1998, in Ironton, 
Ohio.
Born Nov. 22, 1907, in Savannah, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Hans A. 
Madsen and the late Naomia Belle Tony Madsen. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Lewis Barney Murray, who passed away June 16, 1971. She was a member of 
First Presbyterian Church in Ironton, the Lawrence County Humane Society and had 
lived in the Ashland-Ironton area since 1943.
She is survived by several friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Friday at Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater 
Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
