Ledger-Star January 9, 1907
The funeral of Severn William, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh M. Murray, who 
died last evening at the home of his parents, No. 410 Hamilton avenue, Ghent, 
after a month’s illness, aged nearly a year, took place privately this afternoon 
at 2 o’clock from the family residence and was conducted by Rev. R. A. Drake, of 
the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The interment was in St. Mary’s cemetery. There 
were many beautiful floral tributes sent by sympathizing relatives and friends—in 
designs and clusters of hyacinths, roses, lilies of the valley and carnations—in 
the whole making a lovely display. The little one, a bright, promising child, had 
been in perfect health up to the time of the fatal illness, and had become closely 
entwined about the hearts of the fond parents and other relatives.
