Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 1, 1992
Lewis Omer Myers, 86, of the 900 block of Decatur St., died Jan. 31, 1992, at 
his residence.
Mr. Myers was born in Virginia Beach and had retired from Norfolk Naval Supply 
Center after 25 years. He was a member of Chesapeake First Pentecostal Holiness 
Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Barnes Myers; three daughters, Barbara M. Scott 
of Virginia Beach, and Betty M. McLendon and Deborah M. Gaut, both of 
Chesapeake; two sons, Albert K. Myers and Elvin T. Myers, both of Chesapeake; a 
sister, Mildred Gilbert, of Nags Head, N.C.; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Riverside Memorial 
Park by the Rev. Wayne Sawyer. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. 
today at Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and all other times at the 
residence.
