The funeral will be from St. Luke's P.E. Church, 10 a.m. TUESDAY, August 11th. *************** Mr. Wm. B. Myers, a well known and estimable young citizen, died at 2 o'clock yesterday at the residence of his brother, Hon. Barton Myers, corner Bank and Freemason Streets, after an illness of three weeks, from typhoid fever. The deceased was 24 years of age and unmarried. He was a gentleman of affable manners, and enjoyed the respect and esteem of all who knew him. He took an active interest in St. Luke's Church and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, to both of which he belonged. He was engaged in the brick business, being the president of the Norfolk Brick Company. The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock this morning from St. Luke's P.E. Church. Myers The funeral of this lamented young gentleman took place from St. Luke's P.E. Church yesterday morning at 11 o'clock and was largely attended. The service was conducted by the rector, Rev. A.S. Lloyd, and the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. The Lee Rifles, of which the deceased was a member, were represented by a military escort under command of Sergeant Frank S. Taylor, and the following gentlemen were the pallbearers: Messrs. H.H. Little, Leroy Baxley, R.J. Alfriend, F.M. Killam, R.C. Byrd, C.G. Constable, W.B. Newton and T.T. Hubard.
