The Lord called her name, and she answered with grace. Born and raised in California, Pennsylvania, Patsy was the fifth of six children born to Florence Lucille Watson Davis and Harry Finley Davis. In 1961, Patsy married Bill Nee of Norfolk, Virginia, and together they built a life filled with deep love and faith over nearly 64 years of marriage. They raised three sons: Bill Jr. (Joanne), Chris (Julie), and their late son, Rick (Richard Michael), who preceded her in death in 2015. Patsy was the proud and joyful grandmother (Memaw) to Matthew, Caitlyn, and Ryan, who were the absolute light of her life. Alongside her husband Bill, Patsy co-founded Preferred Direct Marketing Services in Norfolk. Today, their sons Bill Jr. and Chris carry on the family legacy and the values their mother lived so faithfully—integrity, hard work, and service to others. Patsy's biggest impact lives in the hearts of her family. She was the best mom and Memaw anyone could ask for—selfless, steady, endlessly generous, and always present. Her devotion to her boys and grandchildren was unmatched, and her love lives on in every life she touched. The family asks that you please keep Patsy and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this time. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 13 from 12:00–1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, 1000 E City Hall Ave, Norfolk, VA 23504. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be deeply appreciated.
