Cobb, 410 Berkely avenue, at 8:20 o'clock last night. She was 65 years old and had been a resident of Berkley for forty years. She was ill for about three weeks. Mrs. Nelson was born in New Brunswick, Canada and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Carroll Simpson. She was the widow of the late Captain Charles L. Nelson. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Lena Nelson and Mrs. Arthur Woolfolk of New York; three brothers, George and Samuel Simpson of Virginia Beach and Harry L. Simpson of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. H.W. Cobb of Norfolk, Mrs. A.J. Stimpson of Augusta, Maine and Mrs. Will Gillespie of Portland, Maine. Notice of funeral later. ****************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Nelson, widow of the late Captain C.L. Nelson, will be conducted at St. Thomas Episcopal Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. W.H. Osborne, rector of the church, will conduct the service and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
