The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday August 17, 1950
John Bellingham Nelson, 53, died at his residence, 209 West 34th Street, 
Tuesday at 10 a.m.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Florence Bellingham Nelson, of Norfolk; two 
sisters, Mrs. W.R. Payne, of Norfolk, and Mrs. H.B. Childress, of Richmond; 
three nephews and a niece.
He was a life-long resident of Norfolk, an electrician at Craney Island, and a 
veteran of World War I.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
