Virginian-Pilot  October 18, 1918
Lee G. Nelson died Wednesday evening at his residence on Bute street. He was 24 
years old. He is survived by his aunts, Mrs. Marcella Smallwood and Mrs. Catherine 
Utz, and his uncle, George B. Reed, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will take 
place tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock at the grave in St. Mary’s cemetery.
