She was a native Moyock, N.C., and had made her home in Norfolk and Berkley practically all of her life. Mrs. Nevius was a daughter of the late Elisha Leander and Mrs. Elizabeth Wiginton Lamb Cox. She was a member of Memorial Methodist Church, Berkley, and had taken an active interest in religious and welfare work. Surviving her, in addition to her husband, is a sister, Mrs. E.C. Savage, of Oaklette, Norfolk County. The body was taken to the Cox Funeral Home. ************ Mrs. Sadie Wiginton Cox Nevius Funeral services for Mrs. Nevius, wife of Van Olinda Nevius, 222 Bellamy avenue, who died Monday afternoon were conducted at the Memorial Methodist Church yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Charles E. Green, pastor of the church. Pallbearers were E. Clyde Savage, William W. Savage, Straughn Mann, Robert L. Cox, W. Elwood Cox and John E. Colwill. Interment was in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
