Norfolk - Shelia Newby, 21, of 3012 Vincent Ave. died Thursday, October 17, in a 
hospital.

A Norfolk native, she was the wife of Eddie Newby and the daughter of Tully W. 
and Mrs. Dorothy Stokes. She was employed by the Ledger Star newspaper.

Surviving are a son, Robert Lee Stokes of Norfolk, a sister, Mrs. Tully M. 
Woods; and a broker, Nathaniel W. Stokes.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, October 22, in Emanuel Temple by the Rev. H. 
J. Jackson. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
