Norfolk - Mrs. Blanch C. Newby of 1208 Mapole Ave., the widow of Luke Newby, 
died Nov. 22 in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was retired from Sunlight Laundry after 21 years. She 
was a member of the Senior Choir and Missionary Circle, a past president of the 
Pastor’s Aid, and mother of Macedonia United Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ardelia N. Gill, and two sons, Thomas Newby 
and Earl Newby, all of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held Nov. 25 in Macedonia United Church by the Rev. Umfort 
Lucas. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
