B. [Rinda} Newell, whose death was the result of being run over by an electric car in Huntersville last week, was held from Johnson Avenue Methodist Church, Huntersville, Sunday afternoon in the presence of one of the largest congregations that has ever attended a funeral at this church. The Women's Christian Temperance Union, of which the deceased was an active member, attended the obsequies in a body. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. R. Evans, who paid a beautiful tribute to the life and Christian virtues of the deceased, saying that the Church and the W. C. T. U. had lost in her death one of its brightest ornaments. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
