Virginian Pilot July 15, 1905

NEWMAN - At her residence, No. 423 West Highland Avenue, Friday, July the 14th, 
1905, at 4:30 p.m., LUCY M., beloved wife of J.B. NEWMAN, aged 43 years.
The funeral will take place from the residence THIS SATURDAY at 5 o'clock. 
Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.

Mrs. Lucy M. Newman, wife of J.B. Newman, died at the home of her husband Friday 
afternoon at 4 o'clock in the 44th year of her age. The funeral was held from 
the residence at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The service was conducted by 
Rev. Calvin S. Blackwell, D.D., of the First Baptist Church. The interment was 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
